Aretha Franklin cancels wedding plans

Browsing for wedding insurance policies may have been postponed by Aretha Franklin following the announcement she has put her nuptials on hold.

The singer revealed earlier this month that she and long-time friend Willie Wilkerson were engaged.

However, a newly-released statement has explained the summer ceremony Franklin spoke of is now unlikely to happen.

Jedward organise couple’s TV wedding

Irish twins Jedward are set to surprise a couple who volunteered to have their nuptials organised by a famous face in a new reality TV programme.

Airing on Channel 5, Celebrity Wedding Planner will follow the former X Factor stars as they arrange bride and groom Beluah and Jamess ceremony.

It seems wedding insurance may not have been high on Jedwards to-do list as they reportedly spent some of their £12,000 budget on a stuffed gorilla.

Other features chosen by the pair include a circus-style big top venue and fire eaters.

In order to ensure the duo do not stray too far into the ridiculous, Beluah and James friends are drafted in to help them decide what to include.

The wannabe singers shot to fame on the X Factor in 2009 and earlier this year they caused havoc when they stayed in the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside Kerry Katona and Amy Childs.
